Operations Associate

Job Description: Normet, a global leader in underground mining and tunneling solutions, is seeking a part-time Operations Associate to join our team in Turku, Finland. As an Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our business, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in delivering our products and services to our customers.

Responsibilities: - Assist in coordinating and managing operational activities, including but not limited to inventory management, logistics, and scheduling - Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration - Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement - Support in the development and implementation of operational processes and procedures - Provide administrative support as needed, including maintaining records and documentation - Assist in resolving operational issues and addressing customer inquiries - Contribute to project management tasks, such as tracking timelines and milestones

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role - Strong organizational and time management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Motivated and independent, with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team - Strong persuasion and adaptability skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Knowledge of operational best practices is a plus
