Operations Manager

Uponor is seeking a part-time Operations Manager to join our team in Turku, Varsinais Suomi, Finland. This role is ideal for an individual with at least 5 years of experience in a similar position and who possesses key personality traits such as being resourceful and passionate about their work.

Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective business operations. 2. Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, production schedules, and quality control. 3. Work closely with other department heads to streamline processes and improve overall operational efficiency. 4. Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. 5. Lead a team of operations staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. 6. Monitor and report on key performance indicators to senior management. 7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs. 8. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. 2. Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. 3. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team. 4. Excellent communication and presentation skills. 5. Strategic planning abilities and a track record of successful project management. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications. 7. Ability to work independently and make strategic decisions. 8. Fluency in English and Finnish.
