Operations Manager

Job Description:

Valmet is seeking a part-time Operations Manager to join our team in Espoo, Uusimaa, Finland. As a Mid-to-Senior Level professional with at least 7 years of experience in operations management, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our operations.

Responsibilities: - Oversee day-to-day operations, including managing staff, setting goals and objectives, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations - Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity - Monitor performance metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement - Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication - Lead and motivate a team of employees, providing guidance and support as needed - Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to streamline processes - Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimize costs and maximize profitability - Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, Master's degree preferred - Proven experience in operations management, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience - Strong leadership and decision-making skills - Driven and independent personality traits - Excellent planning and communication skills - Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines - Experience with budgeting and financial management - Knowledge of industry best practices and trends - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
