Job Description:
Varjo Technologies, a leading virtual and augmented reality company, is seeking a talented and experienced Support Manager to join our remote team based in Turku, Finland. As a Support Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the customer support team, ensuring exceptional service delivery to our customers.
Responsibilities: 1. Manage and coordinate the activities of the customer support team to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries and issues. 2. Develop and implement support strategies and processes to improve customer satisfaction and retention rates. 3. Monitor and analyze support metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and training needs. 4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer escalations and ensure a seamless support experience. 5. Train, mentor, and provide ongoing feedback to support team members to enhance their performance and professional development. 6. Stay up-to-date on the latest VR and AR technologies to provide expert support and guidance to customers. 7. Handle complex technical or escalated customer support issues as needed. 8. Contribute to the development of product documentation, knowledge base articles, and support resources.
Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. 2. 7+ years of experience in a customer support or technical support role, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership position. 3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and team members effectively. 4. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding customer support KPIs and objectives. 5. Proficiency in using CRM tools and support ticketing systems. 6. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. 7. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify and address customer issues effectively. 8. Strong cooperation and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders internally and externally.
