Communications Specialist - Remote Work

Job Description:

Varjo is seeking a part-time Communications Specialist to join our remote team in Espoo, Finland. As a Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies to enhance the company's brand and reputation. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, adaptable, and possess excellent cooperation and leadership skills.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement communication strategies to promote Varjo's brand and products - Create engaging content for various communication channels, including social media, press releases, and newsletters - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels - Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and make recommendations for improvement - Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and other key stakeholders - Assist with organizing events and PR campaigns - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in communication

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment - Experience with social media platforms and content management systems is a plus - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Resourceful and adaptable personality traits - Demonstrated cooperation and leadership skills
