Communications Specialist

Job Description:

Marimekko, a leading Finnish design company renowned for its original prints and vibrant colors, is seeking a part-time Communications Specialist to join our team in Tampere, Pirkanmaa, FI. As an Associate-level position, we are looking for a candidate with at least 4 years of experience in communications or a related field.

Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement communication strategies to promote Marimekko's brand and products. 2. Create engaging content for various platforms including social media, press releases, and internal communications. 3. Manage relationships with media outlets and influencers to secure coverage for Marimekko. 4. Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication efforts to optimize strategies. 5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels. 6. Organize events and campaigns to promote Marimekko's products and initiatives.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field. 2. Strong written and verbal communication skills. 3. Energetic personality and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. 4. Experience in people management and planning. 5. Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation tools. 6. Knowledge of PR best practices and media relations. 7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 8. Creativity and innovation in developing communication strategies. 9. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
