Remote Communications Specialist

Marimekko, a renowned Finnish design company, is seeking a part-time Remote Communications Specialist to join our team in Turku, Varsinais Suomi, FI. This is an associate level position, requiring at least 2 years of experience in communications or a related field.

As a Remote Communications Specialist at Marimekko, you will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies to promote the brand and products across various digital platforms. This includes managing social media accounts, creating engaging content, monitoring online conversations, and analyzing performance metrics to continuously improve communication efforts.

Key responsibilities: - Create and publish content on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter - Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build relationships with the online community - Develop email marketing campaigns to promote new products, sales, and events - Monitor online conversations and trends related to the brand and industry - Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging across all channels - Analyze data and metrics to measure the success of communication efforts and make data-driven decisions

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Problem-solving skills and emotional intelligence to navigate challenging situations - Dedication to achieving goals and delivering high-quality work
