Senior Release and Deployment Specialist - Deadline 01/10/25

TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES:

• Coordinate release and deployment management activities to ensure effective service management;

• Assist in supporting models and managing transition of projects and new services into the business-as-usual model;

• Make improvements to the release process on a regular basis, aiming for consistent, on-time delivery of high quality releases;

• Ensure quality is maintained throughout the service delivery process within area of release and deployment management;

• Coordinate and ensure quality of operational documentation review and delivery;

• Build and maintain strong relationships with operational peers to oversee and ensure all service lines are provided in accordance to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• Coordinate and align release management activities in the context of the implementation of the Interoperability Roadmap

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 4 years of relevant education after the secondary school.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 4 years of IT professional experience;

• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in release and deployment management, including DevOps activities and/or transition into operations activities.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills

• Certification in ITIL/ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation and/or ITIL Specialist;

• Certification in DevOps Fundamentals or Foundation;

• Certification in Prince 2 and/or Agile methodologies is considered an asset;

• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle;

• Working experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery is considered an asset;

• Interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
