Job Description

GENERAL CONTEXT

Antal International Cannes is looking for its client, an After Market Marketing Manager,  based in Trappes .

The group designs and manufactures advanced systems and components for the automotive industry, supplying all the major automotive manufacturers internationally. The Aftermarket Business Unit is a commercial division dedicated to spare parts and the repair shop network.
Integrated within the Aftermarket France department, you develop and deploy the marketing strategy in correlation with the central group entities (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Communication) in collaboration with the group. The Marketing Manager will report directly to the Country Manager and support the Aftermarket France team.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

- Define and monitor product pricing (gross prices, discounts, net prices and promotions).
- Ensure margin of contribution levels, with reference to the group objectives as defined in the annual budget.
- Implement the promotional plan in agreement with the Country Manager.
- Define the extension of the current range by introducing new products based on market analysis, customer requirements and competitor benchmarking.
- Manage the marketing budget and periodic forecast reviews in cooperation with Finance (statistical preparation).
- Prepare the monthly sales reports with the support of the Trade Product Manager.
- Manage certain key product ranges.
- In collaboration with Marketing Communications, prepare the communication plan and tools, then participate in events and trade shows.
- Ensure media relations in order to develop communication in cooperation with the Marketing Communications department.
- Team management (2 trade product manager staff).

POSITION PROFILE

Required Education and Experience

- Degree in Economics, and/or Marketing,
- Ideally minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in a Marketing Aftermarket/Automotive function.

Technical Skills

- Microsoft Office.
- Good command of Excel (Vlookup and macros).
- Main SAP Sales & Distribution functionalities.
- Customer relations.
- English (proficiency in written and spoken essential): Numerous
contacts with Italy which oversees the Aftermarket BU.
- Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator or Indesign).

- Possibly 2 days remote working per week after completion of trial period

- Occasional business trips to expect in France and Italy
