About the Role

Our client is a well-established industrial and logistics group operating nationally and internationally, with decades of experience supporting complex production and supply chain environments. The company is known for its strong operational expertise, responsiveness, and a people-focused, family-oriented culture with close proximity to management.

We are looking for a Business Application Support Specialist to support a modern industrial and logistics site that will become operational in 2026. You will play a key on-site IT role, working independently while being closely connected to the Group IT and business application teams.

The role focuses on business application support (WMS, ERP, collaborative tools) combined with hands-on user and hardware support, ensuring system availability, reliability, and smooth day-to-day operations for logistics and production teams.

Location: On-site, Rouen
Contract: Permanent
On-call: Occasional (approx. 5 Saturdays/year)

Responsibilities

  • Provide functional and technical support for WMS systems (ideally Reflex): user assistance, incident analysis, anomaly tracking, and coordination with software vendors.
  • Support operational teams in the use of ERP systems and internal business applications.
  • Act as a key point of contact between business users, software vendors, and external service providers.
  • Participate in application upgrades, acceptance testing, trials, and deployments.
  • Maintain clear technical and functional documentation (procedures, user guides, incident reports).
  • Proactively identify and suggest improvements to business application processes.
  • User & Hardware Support
    • rovide first-level IT support for users: workstations, peripherals, printers, mobile devices, barcode scanners, etc.
    • Identify and report hardware, network, or connectivity issues to the Group IT department.
    • Ensure proper follow-up and resolution of incidents via ticketing tools.
  • Post-secondary degree (2–3 years) in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in a versatile IT support or application support role, ideally in an industrial or logistics environment.
  • Strong interest in or experience with WMS systems (Reflex is a strong plus) and ERP tools.
  • Good understanding of logistics and production workflows.
  • Experience with or strong interest in ticketing tools (Jira, GLPI, ServiceNow, or similar).
  • Strong written communication skills for user responses, documentation, and ticket handling.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders (operators, managers, vendors).
  • High level of autonomy, organization, and service orientation.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to explain technical topics in simple terms.
  • Comfortable working in a demanding, operational industrial environment where availability and responsiveness matter.
