Join Excelya, where Audacity, Care, and Energy define who we are and how we work. As a pivotal part of our leadership team, we are looking for a Business Unit (BU) Business Owner to drive the strategic direction and operational performance of your assigned unit within our organization.

In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of the market and business landscape to develop and implement strategies that align with Excelya’s vision and objectives, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.

As part of the digital transformation of R&D, the Digital, Data & AI R&D department aims to maximize the value of BI products and data initiatives for scientific professions and ensure that the solutions developed meet the strategic challenges of R&D.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure alignment between R&D business needs and the BI products delivered.
• Ensure a clear and shared vision of BI and data objectives within the R&D scope.
• Contribute to the business value generated by dashboards, analytical tools, and digital products.
• Promote better use of data and adoption of BI solutions to optimize scientific decision-making.

About You

We are looking for a results-oriented leader with a strong business acumen and a proven track record in managing P&L responsibilities.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in Business Intelligence in complex environments. Experience in the pharmaceutical sector, ideally in R&D or regulated environments.
• Solid experience in Business Intelligence: dashboard design, usage monitoring, performance indicators.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum environments and experience working with Product Owners, Tech Leads, and Data Engineers.
• Good knowledge of R&D data (patients, omics data, chemistry, clinical trials, etc.).
• Familiarity with BI tools on the market (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.).
• Education: Master’s degree
• Languages: Fluent in English
