Our technology starts with you. \n \n--- \n \nYOUR ROLE \n\nThe Imaging Division is seeking a highly skilled Analog Validation Engineer to join a young, dynamic team of 10 professionals focused on cutting-edge imaging sensor technology. Based in Grenoble, you will be an integral part of the Analog Validation team, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest levels of product quality and performance throughout the entire development cycle\u2014from early prototypes to product launch.\n\nAnalog Validation and Testing\n\n * Lead the validation and testing of analog components in imaging sensors, ensuring performance meets or exceeds specifications.\n * Develop and execute detailed test plans and procedures to validate analog circuitry.\n * Utilize advanced instrumentation and measurement techniques to accurately characterize analog signals and behaviors.\n * Innovate and improve measurement setups and validation methodologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.\n\n\n\nImage Quality Performance Analysis\n\n * Drive image quality validation at both component and system levels.\n * Define and implement validation methodologies that link image quality metrics with analog design characteristics\n * Analyze performance data and correlate with design simulations.\n * Collaborate with algorithm, design, and system teams to optimize sensor performance based on validation insights.\n\n\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration and Communication\n\n * Work closely with design, firmware, software, and system teams to ensure comprehensive validation coverage.\n * Prepare detailed technical documentation, including test plans, procedures, validation reports, and executive-level presentations.\n * Serve as a technical interface for internal teams and external customers regarding analog validation results and issues.\n\n\n\nTeam Contribution and Development\n\n * Support team effectiveness by ensuring completeness and rigor in validation activities.\n * Mentor junior engineers and actively contribute to continuous improvement of validation methodologies and team capabilities.\n\n\n\nYOUR SKILLS \u0026 EXPERIENCES\n\n * Master\u2019s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Optics or a related field.\n * Minimum 5 years of experience in analog validation, preferably within imaging sensors or semiconductor industries.\n * Strong expertise in analog electronics, signal characterization, and instrumentation.\n * Deep understanding of image quality metrics and their relationship to analog design and sensor performance.\n * Proficiency with analog test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators) and experience automating test benches (Python or similar) is a plus.\n * Experience with image processing algorithms or scripting to support validation is highly desirable.\n * Excellent problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and a passion for innovation.\n * English business proficiency\n\n\n\nST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2025 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
