Activities

• Explore and summarize literature on biomedical knowledge graphs
• Collaborate with therapeutic area experts and technical teams
• Integrate and model large-scale phenotypic and cellular data
• Implement data ingestion pipelines for knowledge graph construction
• Develop and query graph databases (e.g., Cypher, Neo4j)
• Apply graph-based reasoning and inference methods
• Communicate scientific findings in team meetings
• Contribute clean, well-documented code to internal GitHub repos
• Participate in project meetings and weekly reporting
• Ensure compliance with Servier’s internal rules and safety policies

About You
At Excelya, taking audacious steps is encouraged, so we're looking for individuals who are ready to grow with us and share our values.

• Experience: PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or Data Science. At least 3 years of postdoctoral or equivalent experience. Strong expertise in cellular biology and phenotypic data integration. Prior work on biomedical knowledge graphs or large-scale data modeling. Experience with graph databases (e.g., Cypher, Neo4j).
• Skills: Advanced programming in Python (e.g., Kedro, API usage, GitHub). Strong background in cellular and phenotypic data (e.g., L1000, PRISM, Cell Painting). Knowledge of cloud environments (GCP, BigQuery). Proficiency in machine learning (dimensionality reduction, feature selection, clustering). Ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality results in fast-paced environments.
• Education: PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Data Science, or related field.
• Languages: Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
