About Us: Random is an experience design studio based in Amsterdam and Paris. Our work comes to life in the Interactive Space, a new domain, where the digital and the physical are fluid. We use technology in a human, tangible way and so invite people to connect to each other and the space they are in. 

We’re seeking a talented and motivated Senior Creative Lead to take the reins on a significant account, collaborating closely with the producer and guiding our team towards creative excellence.

Role Summary: As Creative Lead, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and overseeing projects on one of the studio's key accounts. In this production-focused role, you’ll be responsible for transforming design guidelines into a cohesive, functional space with a focus on practicality and efficiency. You'll lead and inspire a team of designers and creative talent to bring this vision to life. In this long-term client engagement, you’ll develop expert knowledge of this brand and space, mastering its nuances with each reskin and campaign.

This is an opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented strategic thinker who can bring bold ideas to life and is comfortable handling all aspects of the creative process from concepting to on-site installation oversight.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire: Working hand-in-hand with the producer, you will steer the creative vision and direction of the engagements, ensuring the highest standard of creative output.


• Oversee production: Manage the end-to-end creative production process, from ideation to delivery, with a sharp eye for detail.


• Design and deck making: Lead the development of polished and compelling presentation decks that effectively communicate the creative vision to both internal teams and clients.


• Client engagement: Present and articulate concepts to clients confidently, ensuring alignment with their vision while providing expert guidance.


• Team collaboration: Motivate, mentor, and guide designers across disciplines, fostering an environment of innovation and excellence.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 5-6 years as AD/Creative lead min.


• Location flexibility: Based in Paris (preferred) or Amsterdam. Your presence on overnight installations every two/three months is a must.  

• Retail design focus: Proven experience in retail design.


• Creative technology: Aligned with our studio's DNA, we are seeking a candidate with experience in overseeing the creation of interactive experiences.


• Production oversight: Track record of managing and executing large-scale productions, ensuring all project aspects align with the creative vision.


• Organized and detail-oriented: Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines with precision and attention to detail.


• Design expertise: Background in graphic design, 3D experience and Rhino are highly valued.


• Presentation skills: Excellent communicator and presenter, capable of articulating ideas clearly and inspiring confidence in clients and team members.
