JOB SUMMARY
Instruct, direct and supervise custodial cleaning team to clean assigned areas according to Goodwill and Federal Contract cleaning standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure each location has proper supplies needed
- Provide guidance to crew and ensure the crew stays on task.
- Perform basic custodial duties in a timely, safe and professional manner.
- Assist with snow removal processes.
- Complete building inspections
- Ensure that cleaning equipment is operated in a safe manner
- Assist with training and onboarding of employees
- Conduct spot checks of buildings to ensure they are secure and cleaning requirements are met.
- Meet or exceed the attendance expectations for this position
- Actively maintain a safe, healthy, and positive environment that promotes the physical and emotional well-being of employees, customers and participants.
- Other duties as assigned or required to fulfill the contract.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Two years of custodial experience required
- Six (6) months of experience leading teams or supervising is preferred
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Must be able to use the custodial equipment necessary to do the job
- Must be aware of and follow OSHA safety regulations
- Must have a thorough knowledge of proper custodial procedures
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Medium
Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Moderate
Occasionally exposed to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise fumes, dust, etc.)
