IFF is very excited to welcome a new Customer Experience Marketing Associate to our team, and we hope it’s you!
The CE Marketing Associate will be tasked with the development and delivery of local market insights through an outstanding and uncommon customer experience. Key responsibilities within Customer Experience Marketing include local engagement with customers, bringing forward the trends, opportunities, initiatives and targeted local marketing promotions, and creative, impactful communication.
The scope of the role is South Europe (France) and the complete IFF NOURISH portfolio: flavors (flavors, seasoning and colors), ingredients (protein solutions, hydrocolloids, emulsifiers and sweeteners etc.) and food systems, specifically focusing on the Beverages, Culinary and Dairy.
A real “Passion for food and drink”, as well as good people skills to be able to lead by influence are essential to be successful to this role.
Your Mission
To drive local engagement with customers with powerful storytelling, compelling ideas, and meaningful ways to connect To support pro-active and reactive customer-driven projects in a way that significantly increases the chances of generating and/or winning business opportunities. To be a strategic partner for the Category Teams by bringing forward local market insights, trends and collaborating with the Category Marketing Leads and Category Growth Teams to bring forward to customers the defined Category Initiatives in an impactful way. To deliver creative and impactful communication that is on brand and improves the image of IFF internally and externally. This is achieved through :
Market analysis and the generation of insights on markets, new potential customers, brands, food and beverage products and flavors and associated recommendations for the business Roll-out of strategic growth initiatives to relevant customers Marketing communication and event management when needed (exhibitions, conferences, food safaris, communication planning etc.). Focus will be on cross-category events & local events. The creation of compelling marketing material for IFF commercial team and external customers, while coordinating with and integrating presentation inputs from internal cross-functional peers (e.g. technical inputs into a customer presentation). Marketing material includes but is not limited to proactive presentations based on category opportunities, reactive presentations based on customer needs, trend reviews, one-pagers, brochures, innovation days, videos Interaction with external customers on a regular basis, demonstrating in a convincing way how IFF´s capabilities can benefit their business. Extensive cooperation with internal cross-functional peers.
Job qualifications
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
Solid communication in English & French Marketing knowledge & experience, good story teller (ideally coming from Food & Beverage industry) Higher study or university degree in Marketing is a plus Project Management skills Ambitious, proactive, challenging and want to embrace and deliver change. Ability to have market insights, be curious about markets and consumers Demonstrate passion for taste, food and beverages and therefore produce uncommon presentations that have commercial relevance along with innovative ideas that create an experience.
