Development and deployment of AI apps around SAP

This position is dedicated to the design, development, and realization of a Proof of Concept (PoC) leveraging SAP Generative AI (GenAI) within TCS’s internal innovation ecosystem. The role involves close collaboration with a cross-functional team of SAP and new technologie experts to explore, prototype, and validate GenAI-driven solutions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Joule, SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad, and Large Language Model (LLM) integrations.

Responsibilities include analyzing business scenarios, identifying AI use cases, developing intelligent extensions, and demonstrating the potential of GenAI to enhance SAP processes and user experiences. This position plays a key role in advancing TCS’s GenAI capabilities, supporting internal knowledge building, and shaping the foundation for future AI-enabled SAP solutions and accelerators.

• Analyze SAP’s GenAI ecosystem, including Joule, AI Core, AI Launchpad, and BTP AI services.
• Evaluate potential GenAI use cases relevant to SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, and ABAP extensions.
• Define the solution architecture for the GenAI PoC within the SAP BTP landscape.
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and SAP AI services with existing SAP environments.
• Design secure, scalable, and reusable AI components aligned with TCS best practices.
• Build and configure GenAI prototypes demonstrating real-world SAP use cases.
• Develop intelligent chatbots, copilots, or recommendation features leveraging SAP Joule and LLMs.
• Implement data preparation, model prompts, and workflow automation within BTP.
• Work closely with internal SAP, AI, and innovation teams to co-develop and refine PoC deliverables.
• Successfully design, develop, and demonstrate at least one functional SAP GenAI Proof of Concept within defined timelines.

Skills and knowledge required :

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. + Fluent English & French 
• Solid understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and its AI-related services.
• Hands-on experience with SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad, and Joule integration.
• Good knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering concepts for enterprise use cases.
• Experience in designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA.
• Proficiency in ABAP and ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) for extending AI-driven business logic.
• Understanding of OData, SAP CDS views, and BTP connectivity for AI service integration.
• Experience in building intelligent extensions for SAP Fiori or UI5 applications leveraging GenAI capabilities.
• Knowledge of Python, JavaScript (Node.js, React), or AI SDKs/APIs for developing and integrating GenAI services.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web-based integration standards.
• Familiarity with AI ethics, data governance, and security considerations within enterprise environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in an innovation or PoC-driven environment with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to explore emerging SAP GenAI technologies and frameworks.

Technological environment :

• SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), formerly known as SAP Cloud Platform (SCP)
