What we are looking for:

Nūmi is looking for an Experienced Bioprocess Engineer to join our Bioprocess department. Prior experience in bioprocesses, setting up process plans for scale-up and in-process optimization for cell culture are key requirements.

As part of your mission at Nūmi you will:

• Identify appropriate operating equipment and processing lines for bioprocess critical to shaping our Bioprocess Department
• Support small scale and develop pilot plant processes
• Design experiments in traditional and high throughput cell culture platforms at varying scales (e.g. shake flask, benchtop bioreactor)
• Establish and enforce quality protocols to ensure food safety throughout the operation processes and scale-up
• Contribute to regulatory assessments, quality considerations, good manufacturing practices throughout the bioprocess.
• Work with project management tools and Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) softwares

• MSc/PhD in biochemical engineering, bioprocess engineering, bio-manufacturing, or a related discipline with 5+ years of relevant work experience in the field, ideally in an industrial setting
• Proven track record in bioreactor operation (lab to pilot scale) and process optimization.
• Strong understanding of cell culture media design, fed-batch/continuous processes, and metabolic profiling.
• Experience with process monitoring, PAT tools, and data analysis.
• Strong critical thinker who is comfortable solving unique scientific challenges by learning from peers, seminars, and scientific literature
• Enthusiasm, curiosity, and team-player drive
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

• A last interview on site (when possible) to meet Eden, co-founder and CEO for a fit interview, meet part of the team and visit the labs & office
