Temporary Contract – 6 months (CDD)

As a Consumer Market Insights Coordinator (m/f/d) in Paris (XVI), you will support the CMI team with administrative and operational tasks.

You will manage the logistics of consumer tests and work with the CMI Managers to coordinate and facilitate the setup of consumer testing activities. You will ensure that each test run smoothly and follow all important steps and processes — from creating sample requests and agency briefs to delivering and storing data.

You will collaborate internally with CMI Managers, Evaluators, and Development Assistants, and other departments including the Application Laboratory, Pilot Laboratory, and Mail Department. Externally, you will work with Market Research Agencies and Shipment Agencies (in particular FEDEX).

Reporting directly to the Head of CMR Manager Fine Fragrances, you will:

• CMI Logistics (Oversee the logistics process for perfume tests conducted in France and internationally)
  
  
  
  • Briefing: gather all test criteria and timelines with the CMI Manager overseeing the project and brief partner agencies accordingly.
  
  
  • Monitor sampling: manage fragrance selection by creating CMR and sample requests; order oils and benchmarks and deliver them to the lab. Communicate with laboratories during sample preparation and monitor progress until products are ready. Alert the team to any issues or delays. Ensure the Evaluator completes the Quality Control check and approve samples before shipment.
  
  
  • Coordinate shipments: prepare proforma invoices for shipping samples and test materials. Inform the Mail Department and the Market Research Agency of the shipping date, share tracking details, and monitor shipments until delivery.
  
  
  
  


• Database Storage (Update the database of tested perfumes)


• CMI Administration (Perform administrative tasks, including invoice processing)


• Department Support (Support the daily activities of the Consumer Insights department and act as a liaison for the apprentice when they are attending school)

You?

• University degree in Business, Consumer Market Insights, or a related field


• Previous business experience beneficial


• Fluency in English and French


• Understanding of market research methodologies and processes


• Basic knowledge of statistical analysis


• Basic understanding of fragrance products, key customers, and market trends


• Basic olfactory skills


• Capability to manage simple projects and suppliers under guidance


• Commissioning and setup of projects


• Managing operational activities such as label printing, product purchasing, and shipping


• Strong organizational skills and time management ability
