We're looking for an experienced Growth & Ops manager in Japan to develop and execute innovative offline growth strategies and onboard new local creators on the platform. The main goal is to grow our user base in Japan and make sure that we stay true to our DNA by always showcasing content that’s relevant to our Japanese audience.
Celebrities and Creators Onboarding: Identify, source, and reach out to celebrities and creators that are the most relevant to our Japanese audience
Content Strategy: Provide our creators with guidelines on how to design the best content on BeReal
Events & Activations: Organize and manage offline events, brand activations, and experiential marketing efforts to create meaningful connections with users and drive user growth
Strategic Partnerships: Identify and build relationships with universities, local organizations, cultural influencers to amplify BeReal’s presence.
Campus Programs: Develop and oversee ambassador programs at schools and universities to drive organic adoption and engagement.
Referral & Word-of-Mouth Initiatives: Design creative incentive programs to encourage user referrals and organic brand advocacy.
Consistent Branding: Ensure all offline marketing materials align with BeReal’s brand identity and values.
Public Relations: If needed, work with PR agencies and media outlets to secure offline media coverage and strengthen brand awareness.
Live Operations: Ensure all offline events and top creators are well featured in the Japanese version of the app.
5-7+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on offline growth channels.
Proven leadership in managing and executing large-scale offline marketing campaigns.
Data-driven, highly organized, and adaptable in fast-paced environments, with the ability to measure offline impact and integrate insights into broader marketing strategies.
Fluent in Japanese & English.
