Key Responsibilities



  • Actively work with inbound, outbound and event-generated leads.

  • Contact prospects quickly and professionally by email, LinkedIn, phone and other relevant channels.

  • Conduct first discovery and qualification calls with potential clients.

  • Understand the prospect’s business model, use case, payment flows and potential need for Wallester products.

  • Identify opportunities related to card issuing, white-label issuing, API-based cards, expense management, ad spend, travel, ticketing, payouts, procurement and other relevant verticals.

  • Assess opportunity quality and commercial potential using Wallester’s internal lead scoring logic.

  • Coordinate and involve the relevant senior team members when an opportunity shows strong commercial potential or requires senior-level discussion.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, notes, tasks, follow-ups and pipeline status.

  • Ensure that no qualified lead is lost due to slow response, poor follow-up or lack of ownership.

  • Coordinate next steps between the client and senior commercial, implementation, product or management team members.

  • Support opportunities until they are ready for senior negotiation, proposal, technical scoping or implementation discussion.



Requirements



  • 1.5-4 years of experience in sales, business development, SDR/BDR, inside sales, junior commercial roles or client-facing commercial roles.

  • Experience in SaaS, fintech, payments, banking, embedded finance, expense management, card issuing or other B2B technology sectors is highly desirable.

  • Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with founders, CEOs, CFOs, Heads of Product, Heads of Payments and other decision-makers.

  • Excellent English is mandatory.

  • Additional languages are a strong advantage, especially French, German, Spanish or Italian.

  • Strong follow-up discipline, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple opportunities at the same time.

  • High energy, resilience and willingness to execute actively every day.

  • Commercial curiosity and ability to quickly understand whether an opportunity is valuable or not.

  • Strong written communication and ability to summarise client needs clearly for senior team members.

  • Comfortable working from the office in Riga or Cannes.
