Job description

You are the CTO’s right hand on the information system. You run it day to day on the CTO’s behalf — availability, support, security, compliance, vendors, budget — while the CTO focuses on strategy, risk models and group and vendor negotiations. The CTO remains accountable for the IS and sets strategy, architecture and vendor choices.

From January 2027 you also take over from the Head of Transformation & Adoption, whose mission ends in December 2026: following up the core-system replacement programme and driving AI adoption across the business.

What you will do

•     Run the IS — availability and continuity of applications and the data platform, user support, incidents, workplace IT, application map and runbooks, follow-up of the delegated budget.

•     Secure and comply — security policy defined with the CTO (IAM, MFA, backups, DR/BCP), GDPR and data minimisation with the DPO, audits, day-to-day vendor relationship.

•     Keep the transformation moving — integrated plan, business acceptance and data reconciliation, environments, cut-overs and dual-run, change management.

•     Carry AI adoption — inherit the charter, the use-case portfolio and the champions network; administer assistants and agents (access, connectors, cost); industrialise pilots with the engineering team; measure adoption and value monthly.

The mission

It opens in January 2027 with a structured handover from the Head of Transformation & Adoption. Then you hold both ends of the rope: make the IS dependable and legible — knowing what runs where and at what cost, a tested continuity plan, a security posture that satisfies the group and the regulator — and keep the transformation and AI momentum: the next domains migrated with trained business teams, and AI moved from governed pilots to industrialised, measured workflows. You put in the CTO’s hands a landscape ready for the cut-over, quantified AI results and an IT function the business can rely on.

•     7+ years running information systems, ideally in insurance, banking or a regulated financial environment; trade credit insurance or factoring is a real plus.

•     You have lived through a core-system replacement or data migration, on both the operations and business-acceptance sides.

•     Hybrid IS governance (collaboration suite, public cloud, IAM, backups), modern SaaS CRM administration, data literacy (SQL, cloud warehouse, flows).

•     Solid understanding of LLMs and AI assistants, their limits and risks; GDPR, ISO 27001, EU AI Act.

•     Experience in change management and in rolling out AI tools to business users.

•     Pedagogical, rigorous, autonomous within a delegated scope and knowing when to escalate to the CTO.

•     Fluent French, professional English.
