Indirect Procurement Category Manager M/W

Responsibilities

As Indirect Procurement Category Manager M/W, responsible for the Audika France scope, you define and implement the indirect procurement strategy to optimize costs, improve supplier performance, and meet business needs. Reporting directly to the Director Indirect Procurement, you also contribute to Demant Group initiatives aimed at harmonizing practices and developing synergies.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

DEFINE AND DEPLOY THE LOCAL INDIRECT PROCUREMENT STRATEGY (France)

• Act as the procurement business partner for Audika France management teams and stakeholders by identifying and implementing cost optimization and value creation opportunities.


• Lead procurement projects within the Audika France scope (Marketing, Professional Services, Human Resources, Fleet Management, Local IT, and other indirect spend categories), from market analysis to contracting and supplier performance monitoring.


• Drive supplier base rationalization, standardization, and optimization initiatives while ensuring compliance with Demant Group Procurement policies and procedures.


• Monitor achieved savings, ongoing projects, and procurement performance indicators.

CONTRIBUTE TO EUROPEAN AND GROUP PROCUREMENT PROJECTS

• Lead the implementation of Group procurement strategies, processes, and tools within Audika France.


• Support cross-functional European procurement projects by developing synergies, best practices, and value creation opportunities across the Group’s different entities.


• Support initiatives aimed at improving supplier performance, risk management, sustainability, and operational efficiency.


• Contribute to the development and implementation of common procurement strategies across multiple countries or business areas.

PROMOTE AND DEVELOP THE PROCUREMENT FUNCTION

• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at local, regional, and Group levels to support business needs and promote the Procurement function.


• Ensure regular communication with management teams and prepare the analyses, recommendations, reports, and presentations required to support decision-making.


• Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to local procurement processes and supplier management to enhance performance and operational efficiency.


• Manage cross-functional projects and carry out any additional assignments entrusted by management within the scope of the role’s responsibilities.

Competencies

• Master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or an equivalent field.


• Minimum of 8 to 12 years of experience in procurement, ideally within indirect procurement categories.


• Previous experience in an international environment.


• Fluent in English (regular interactions in English).


• Proficiency in data analysis tools and procurement information systems (e-sourcing, supplier management, ERP).


• Strong knowledge of tendering processes, supplier evaluation, and contract management.


• Recognized ability to conduct high-stakes supplier negotiations, develop long-term partnerships, and protect the company’s interests.


• Ability to analyze markets, identify optimization opportunities, and contribute to procurement performance improvement.


• Recognized for strong negotiation skills, a collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
