Installation Engineer

Intertek is currently participating in a major tender for FLNG project and in anticipation of a project award, we are seeking an experienced Installation Engineer to join the team.

The installation engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the successful installation and integration of offshore systems and structures, adhering to both project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage installation strategies, plans, and procedures for offshore projects.
• Collaborate closely with various departments to ascertain project requirements and deliverables.
• Oversee installation operations in the field, ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with third-party contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and effective project execution.
• Conduct risk assessments and modify plans as necessary to mitigate potential hazards.
• Provide technical support and guidance during installation activities and troubleshoot any challenges that arise.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of installation processes and provide regular reports to project management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Marine, Mechanical, Civil, or a related discipline).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in installation engineering within the oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of installation methodologies and offshore operations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse environment.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
• Fluent in English; ability to communicate in additional languages is a plus.

Contract duration: 1 to 3 years
