As International HRIS Project Manager, you will lead the deployment and stabilization of the "One HR" landscape across a portfolio of countries, acting as the primary interface between HR business stakeholders, Group IT, local payroll providers, and the Group's systems integration partner. You will be accountable for scope, budget, and schedule on your country portfolio, and for the quality of the solution once in production. You will report to the Group HRIS Director and sit within a team of 9, based at Group HQ in Nanterre.
Key Environment Metrics
Primary Objectives & KPIs
You will manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for your country portfolio: business requirements workshops, fit-gap analysis against the Group template, configuration oversight, UAT, data migration and payroll parallel runs, training, go-live, and hypercare. You will coordinate cross-functional, multi-country project teams — HR business partners, local payroll and finance teams, Group IT, and the external SAP SuccessFactors/SmartRecruiters implementation partner — and manage day-to-day relationship and delivery quality with that partner, including reviewing statements of work and change requests. You will arbitrate between global template consistency and legitimate local statutory or collective-bargaining requirements (in liaison with local HR and, where required, works councils), and maintain the functional roadmap and design authority backlog for your modules. You will oversee integration and data migration work streams with payroll, benefits, and finance systems, design and deliver change management and training plans adapted to each local context, and monitor system performance, data quality, and user feedback after go-live, feeding a continuous improvement backlog reviewed monthly with the Group HRIS Steering Committee.
Education & Experience: Master's degree (Bac+5) in Human Resources, Information Systems, or Business/Engineering. A minimum of 6 years of experience in HRIS project management, including at least one full end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors implementation (Employee Central required; Recruiting, Onboarding, or Employee Central Payroll a strong plus) in an international or matrix organization. Experience managing Tier-1 systems integrators and multi-country payroll interfaces.
Technical Skills: Strong functional command of SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals) and/or SmartRecruiters, including integration principles (SAP CPI or equivalent middleware) with payroll, benefits, and finance/ERP systems. Working knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile and/or PMP or PRINCE2), data migration and reconciliation processes, GDPR and cross-border data transfer requirements, and HR reporting/analytics (Stories/People Analytics or equivalent). A SAP SuccessFactors certification (Employee Central Associate or higher) is a strong asset.
Behavioral Competencies: Strong leadership and stakeholder management across cultures, functions, and hierarchical levels, including comfort presenting to C-level HR sponsors. Excellent written and spoken communication, able to translate technical constraints for non-technical audiences and vice versa. Rigorous, structured, and able to manage several concurrent country rollouts and vendor relationships under tight deadlines. Fluent English required (working language of the program); French and/or Spanish or German a strong plus. Comfortable in multicultural, distributed teams and with international travel (approximately 30–40% of the time, in peak rollout periods).
Join a Group genuinely investing in its people function through one of its flagship digital transformation programs, with real ownership over how new countries join a unified international HRIS. You will work within a small, senior HRIS team with direct visibility to the Group CHRO and HRIS Director, structured opportunities to deepen your expertise across the full SAP SuccessFactors and SmartRecruiters ecosystem, and the chance to shape processes and data quality for a workforce of 74,000 people across four continents.
