We are looking for a Manager – Tissue and Cell Bank to join our dynamic R&D team and oversee activities related to tissues, fluids, tumors, PDX, organoids, lysates, and subcellular fractions.
In this key position, you will drive the development and evolution of the Tissue and Cell Bank in line with the target R&D organization, ensuring excellence in quality, compliance, and operational performance.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance the Tissue and Cell Bank in alignment with R&D strategic objectives: identify and prioritize needs, implement new technologies, monitor operations, and define, evolve, and harmonize processes.
• Guarantee deliverables and the smooth operation of the internal BTC platform across all defined scopes (tissues, fluids, tumors, PDX, organoids, lysates, subcellular fractions).
• Ensure compliance with established standard operating procedures and promote operational excellence within the team.
• Monitor team performance and contribute to process optimization: track KPIs and metrics, manage non-conformities, implement CAPAs, optimize workflows, and coordinate equipment management with Robotics and Lab Management teams.
• Foster engagement among team members in safety culture and CSR initiatives.
• Maintain and improve a robust quality system ensuring traceability and integrity of samples and their associated data.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, in collaboration with the Animals & Biologics Compliance and Outsourcing Management teams, regarding the use and storage of all BTC samples.
• Act as the main point of contact for R&D teams on all matters related to tissue and cell banking activities.
• Ensure adherence to Servier’s hygiene and safety rules within laboratory facilities.

About you

We are looking for a candidate who embodies our values of Audacity, Care, and Energy, and who brings a strong scientific and managerial background to the role.

• Education: Master’s degree in Biology or a related Life Sciences field.
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical research, ideally with management experience in biobanking or in vivo research environments.
• Technical skills: Strong understanding of biobank operations, sample traceability, and quality management systems; knowledge of CAPA processes and laboratory workflow optimization.
• Tools: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Soft skills: Solution-oriented mindset, strong interpersonal and communication skills, proactivity, rigor, and the ability to manage priorities and work cross-functionally.
• Languages:
• French: fluent, written and spoken (mandatory)
• English: intermediate, written and spoken (required for documentation and collaboration).
