Our Team, Your Impact

To cover a maternity leave, we are looking for a Portfolio Project Manager to join our Product Portfolio team on a fixed-term contract.


In this role, you will have the opportunity to build valuable experience in project and portfolio management while collaborating with diverse stakeholders across Europe and global functions. You will contribute to high-impact initiatives throughout the product lifecycle within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

General Missions


  • Support the management and optimization of the product portfolio by coordinating cross-functional projects throughout the product lifecycle. The role contributes to ensuring product quality, supply continuity, regulatory compliance, and business performance through effective project management and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Working in a dynamic and multicultural environment, the position involves daily interactions with manufacturing sites, local affiliates, European functions, and global teams.

  • Key projects may include product launches, product transfers, manufacturing changes, portfolio optimization initiatives, product discontinuations, supplier-related projects, and other strategic or operational initiatives supporting portfolio growth and sustainability.

  • The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders while ensuring timely execution of projects and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.

How You’ll Spend Your Day

Key Responsibilities:



  • Maintain and optimize the product portfolio

    • Purpose of the role:

      • Support portfolio optimization initiatives by coordinating projects aimed at improving product quality, supply reliability, profitability, and overall business performance.



    • Key Activities:

      • Support the identification and evaluation of portfolio optimization opportunities.

      • Contribute to business case preparation and impact assessments to support decision-making.

      • Coordinate industrial projects, including product transfers, switches and product major changes.

      • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and trackers.

      • Coordinate cross-functional activities with local, European, global, and manufacturing teams.

      • Monitor project progress, organize meetings, and provide regular project updates and reporting.

      • Identify project risks and support the implementation of mitigation actions.

      • Escalate issues when required and ensure timely resolution of project challenges.

      • Ensure compliance with internal processes and maintain project documentation.

      • Contribute to portfolio performance analyses, KPI monitoring, and action plan follow-up.





  • Coordinate product discontinuation process

    • Purpose of the role:

      • Support and coordinate product discontinuation activities to ensure compliant and timely execution of action plans related to products and Marketing Authorizations.



    • Key Activities:

      • Prepare supporting documentation and analyses for product discontinuation decisions.

      • Coordinate activities between manufacturing sites, external partners, Regulatory Affairs, and local teams.

      • Support the management of Marketing Authorization activities associated with product discontinuations.

      • Organize meetings, track actions, and ensure appropriate follow-up.

      • Maintain Group and local discontinuation databases and tracking tools.

      • Prepare regular progress updates and activity reports.

      • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.





  • Coordinate and/or contribute to cross-functional product portfolio projects and initiatives

    • Purpose of the Role

      • Contribute to cross-functional projects impacting the product portfolio by facilitating coordination, information sharing, and project execution across multiple functions.



    • Key Activities

      • Participate in technical, industrial, regulatory, and business projects across the portfolio.

      • Coordinate activities with stakeholders including Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Business Development, and external partners.

      • Gather, consolidate, and analyze project information to support decision-making.

      • Monitor project timelines and ensure actions are completed on schedule.

      • Support project governance, reporting, and communication activities.

      • Contribute to risk identification and issue resolution.

      • Participate in the continuous improvement of portfolio processes and tools.





Your Skills and Experience

Skills:



  • Project management skills.

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory and manufacturing environments.

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

  • Problem-solving and proactive approach.

  • Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Fluent English (written and spoken).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).​‌


Education & Experience Requirements:



  • Master's degree in Pharmacy, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or equivalent.

  • Initial experience (1–3 years) in project management, product portfolio management, supply chain, regulatory affairs, operations, or a related function.

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is preferred.

  • Knowledge of product lifecycle management processes would be an advantage.
