Pre-Commissioning Engineer

Intertek is currently participating in a major tender for FLNG project and in anticipation of a project award, we are seeking a highly skilled  Pre-Commissioning Engineer to join the team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that systems and equipment are ready for commissioning and meet the project specifications and standards.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and will be responsible for developing and overseeing the pre-commissioning activities, ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review of project specifications and requirements related to pre-commissioning activities.
• Develop and implement pre-commissioning procedures and programs.
• Supervise mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation pre-commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure readiness for commissioning.
• Conduct inspections and tests, ensuring compliance with standards and safety regulations.
• Document and report the status of pre-commissioning activities to project stakeholders.
• Assist in the development of commissioning plans and generate final reports.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pre-commissioning activities in the oil, gas, or industrial sectors.
• Strong technical knowledge in system preparations, inspections, and testing procedures.
• Relevant certifications in safety and industry standards are a plus.
• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is beneficial.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Contract duration: 1 to 3 years
