PROUDFOOT: Management Consultant / French and German language skills essential

Position Overview

Proudfoot is looking to hire a contract resource to join our team on a project in French-speaking regions.  You will be at the forefront of delivering consulting services to our client, working as part of a very strong team, therefore it is essential that you have relevant experience and our also fluent in French.

Main Accountabilities

• Delivery: Accountable for delivering results for one or more workstreams 
• Collaboration: Work with client staff to identify performance gaps and develop solutions.
• Implementation: Manage implementation, audit results, and take corrective actions as necessary.
• Training and Development: Conduct workshops, training sessions, and presentations to equip clients with the skills needed for sustainable changes.
• Relationship Building: Develop results-based relationships with client personnel, actively seeking opportunities for cross-selling and additional work.

Skills and Experience

First Degree: Engineering or Scientific, ideally with languages

Second Degree: Management Master's or MBA, ideally with languages

• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to operate on the shop-floor or face-to-face with CEOs
• Superior problem-solving and analytical skills, with a true entrepreneurial spirit
• Significant understanding of the industry dynamics of the mining sector
• Passion for analytics and developing new approaches to mining data analysis
• Willing to work in a highly demanding and result-oriented team environment
• Self-motivation and a high service-oriented work ethic
• Willingness to travel up to 80%, with the possibility of rotation for periods of up to one month
• Multilingual - > C1 level in French, German and English is essential 
• Lean / 6s / Agile Sprints, Lean OpEX, Gemba, TPM certified
• Project Management Certifications (PMP)
• Power BI – Certification
• Excellence with MS Office applications
• Yellow fever vaccination 
• Legally qualified to drive a car
• Applications from EU/EEA/Swiss citizens and those with valid French work permits are encouraged.
