Ashland has an exciting opportunity as Regional Technical Sales Support of our Biofunctionals Business Line within Ashland’s Personal Care business in EMEA. This is a very visible, significant role within Ashland and the personal care business. This position will report to the Regional Sales Manager for Biofunctionals

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support EMEA sales teams and act as a technical expert and ambassador for Biofunctionals business
  • Visit customers across EMEA, deliver product presentations and answers to customer briefs.
  • Train EMEA sales teams
  • Support distributors through training and technical guidance
  • Drive business growth by supporting and accelerating sales opportunities
  • Represent Ashland at trade shows and industry events
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, marketing, and regulatory teams

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in cosmetic sciences or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in technical sales or related role in personal care
  • Strong expertise in biological actives with technical and commercial mindset
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel in the region - 40% to 50%

The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:

  • Experience working in the personal care market
  • Home-office based role
  • Fluent in English
