In this critical role, you will lead and develop a new nursing team within our clinical operations. You will spend significant time providing high-quality clinical oversight while also implementing operational strategies. Accountabilities
- Symptom Triage: Utilize advanced clinical judgment to triage patient symptoms per protocol.
- Clinical Review: Conduct thorough reviews of refill requests and abnormal lab results for timely intervention.
- Behavioral Health Integration: Lead follow-up care for screenings and navigate patients to appropriate care levels.
- Escalation Management: Resolve clinical concerns for complex patient or commercial escalations with empathy.
- Team Coordination: Oversee task distribution among RNs to meet turnaround time goals.
- Workflow Optimization: Identify workflow bottlenecks and improve departmental efficiency.
- Standardization: Draft and formalize clinical SOPs for scalable care delivery.
- Growth & Hiring: Support hiring and onboarding processes for new nursing staff.
- Quality Partnership: Collaborate on initiatives to meet regulatory and quality benchmarks.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with RN compact license.
- 5+ years of clinical RN experience in Primary Care or Obesity Medicine.
- Expertise in Symptom Triage and Chronic Disease Management.
- 2+ years of experience leading a nursing team.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in telemedicine or remote patient monitoring.
- Startup mindset with experience in fast-paced environments.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in EMR and project management tools.
