Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Robotic Integration Mechanical Engineer (f/m) to join our Robotics and automation integration department based in Toulouse, France.

 

You will be part of a team developing innovative and ground-breaking robotic industrial solutions from scratch, preparing the future of industrial manufacturing for the aeronautics sector. As part of the Robotics and automation integration team, you will be involved in the development and mechanical design of automation features aiming at delivering cutting-edge industrial robotic stations and assembly lines to our operational internal customers.

Your challenges:
 

  • Develop detailed Jigs & Tools design and industrialize aeronautical assembly lines, starting from conceptual station design.

  • Design and develop mechanical interfaces, piping systems (vacuum, pneumatic, hydraulic), and ensure full robotics integration using CATIA V5.

  • Perform mechanical structure dimensioning using NASTRAN-PATRAN and create layout and building drawings using AUTOCAD.

  • Support machine and station installation in-situ, solve technical problems in coordination with plants, and create comprehensive user and maintenance manuals.

  • Define robust safety concepts including Design Risk Assessment (DRA), DFMEA/PFMEA, and Sistema calculations.

     

Your boarding pass:
 

  • Significant experience in mechanical engineering.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial line mechanical design or complex mechanical design.

  • Solid experience in robotic and automation integration for the industrial sector.

  • Technical proficiency with CATIA V5, NASTRAN-PATRAN, and AUTOCAD.

  • Advanced level in English; knowledge of Spanish and/or German is a plus.
