About the role

Our client is a European, privately owned manufacturer recognized for high-performance lubricants and synthetic ester base stocks used across aerospace, defense, industrial, and automotive markets. They partner closely with customers to deliver reliable, future-proof solutions and invest heavily in R&D to balance performance with environmental responsibility. You’ll be the first point of contact for Sage X3 users (Level-1 support, evolving to Level-2) across Finance, Purchasing, Sales, Inventory, and Production. You’ll triage incidents, guide users, document processes, and collaborate with technical teams and external partners to keep business operations running smoothly—including a production site in the United States (professional English required).

Responsibilities

• Receive, qualify, and resolve Sage X3 incidents/requests (Level-1; potential Level-2 over time).
• Track tickets in GLPI and ensure SLAs and communication standards are met.
• Support end users with “how-to” guidance and best practices; deliver short trainings where needed.
• Write and update functional documentation (procedures, user guides, FAQs).
• Participate in non-regression testing during upgrades/patches; contribute to UAT planning.
• Coordinate with internal technical teams and external partners for escalations.
• Monitor and help troubleshoot interfaces between Sage X3 and adjacent tools (e.g., LIMS, Treasury, BI).
• (Nice to have) Run simple SQL queries for analysis; design/adjust Crystal Reports.
• Drive continuous improvement of ERP support processes and knowledge base.

Interview process:

- Intro call → Functional interview (use-case + scenarios) → Final interview with stakeholders → Offer.

• Bac+2/3 (France) in business/management, IT, or related field
  (≈ 2–3 years of post-secondary study; comparable to an associate’s or a short bachelor’s degree).
• 1–3 years in ERP support or functional assistance (Sage X3 strongly appreciated).
• Professional English (daily collaboration with a US production site).
• Solid understanding of business processes in Finance, Purchasing, Sales, Inventory, Production in Sage X3 ERP.

Nice to have:

• Basics in SQL for data checks and quick analyses.
• Foundational Crystal Reports skills.
• Awareness of common integration patterns between ERP and satellite systems
