Sales Manager Automotive (m/f/d)

Your tasks

You mainly look after the sites of our automotive customers managed by our office located in Vélizy-Villacoublay, France. You are responsible for the design-in in their on-site development departments as well as for the implementation of product releases. These include in detail:

• Maintain and grow business at existing automotive customers by driving new design-ins
• Responsibility for sales budgets, sales fulfillment and design-in targets
• Identify and materialize new business opportunities in the automotive market
• Assist customer during design-in developments with support from product managers and field application engineers
• Present ROHM value proposition against competitors
• Provide marketing department and product managers with consolidated customer requirements
• Define new products and product enhancements, to pave the road for continuous future growth

Your profile

• Diplome d’Ingénieur or Master 2 in electrical engineering or equivalent technical degree
• Good understanding of electronic components and basic knowledge of electronic circuits
• Very good command of written and spoken French and English
• Adequate experience in the automotive market and technical sales of semiconductors or in hardware development is an advantage
• Ability to work in a multicultural company, experience with a Japanese company is an advantage
• Customer visits 20%~30% of working time
• The position is office based with possibility to work partly from home
