WA.Technology enables operators to build their own casino, sportsbook, lottery, fantasy, or poker business precisely as they envision it.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, will play a crucial role supporting financial decision-making processes, providing insightful analysis, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. You will collaborate with various departments to develop budgets and forecasts, analyse financial reports and much more.
Collaborate with various departments (Ops/ Product/ Commercial etc) to develop budgets and forecasts and monitor budget performance.
Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (management accounts, budget v actual, cashflow forecasting).
Provide the Head of Finance and the CFO with insightful commentary on financial results and trends which can be reported to C Level.
Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to support strategic decision-making.
Evaluate the financial impact of proposed business initiatives and investments throughout the organization’s ambitious growth phase.
Provide recommendations for optimizing financial performance (revenue and margin analysis, cost analysis etc).
Analyse and report on cost trends, identifying opportunities for cost savings.
Collaborate across all departments to understand and manage cost structures.
Develop and maintain cost allocation methodologies.
Build and maintain financial models to support long-term strategic planning.
Conduct sensitivity analyses to assess the impact of various scenarios on financial outcomes.
Assist in the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business success.
Provide ad hoc support and analysis as required
Proven experience in financial planning and analysis within the gaming or related industry is desirable but not essential.
Strong proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders through your reporting.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Proficient with excel (PowerBI and Tableau experience a plus).
Ideally based in Malta with the ability to come to the office 1x or 2x a week
