Solution Architect

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Engage jointly with Sales and clients to translate business strategy into compelling, executable solutions. 
• Lead the solution team, coordinating specialists, architects, governance, and supporting teams. 
• Architect complex, large-scale, or cross-offering solutions that bring together multiple DXC capabilities together into committed client business outcome.
• Present the overall solution to clients, including C-level stakeholders, clearly articulating value, outcomes, and differentiation. 
• Drive and facilitate client workshops such as requirements gathering, BAFO sessions, orals, and solution definition sessions. 
• Ensure alignment across offerings, financial engineering, commercial models, and delivery considerations. 
• Act as the integrator who “brings DXC together” into a coherent, client-ready solution. 

Skills and Experience

• Strong background in IT, preferably applications, system integration, business processes, or complex development. 
• Typically 10–15 years of experience in solution architecture or related roles. 
• Broad understanding of DXC offerings, with the ability to solution across domains. 
• Good level of industry knowledge (not necessarily a deep industry expert). 
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills. 

Stakeholder Interaction

• Client-facing at C-level and below, acting as the primary solution authority for the opportunity.
