SURF Technician

Intertek is looking for a SURF Technician to join our client vessel and contribute to ongoing international projects in the offshore energy sector. This role involves working on Subsea Umbilicals, Risers, and Flowlines (SURF) equipments and supports the installation and maintenance of these critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation and testing of SURF systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on subsea equipment to enhance performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during operations.
• Document all activities, including inspections and maintenance, to uphold rigorous quality assurance protocols.
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and best practices.

Requirements:

• Technical diploma or degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in subsea operations or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of SURF systems and offshore installation practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing environments.
• Flexible with international travel requirements
• Excellent communication skills; fluent English is required.

Terms of the contract:

• French contract
• Work schedule : on a rotational back-to-back of 4 to 6 weeks
• International travel
• 1 year contract (extendible - Project duration 2-3 years)
