About the role

Job Summary
The Lead (Field) Service Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, calibrating, and repairing technical products and systems at customer field locations. This role performs a variety of maintenance and technical support tasks and may provide onsite training to customer support personnel.
This job profile is intended for experienced support-level staff that generally works autonomously and only requires closer supervision in non-routine situations.

Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and technical support on installed products and equipment.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve malfunctions.
Determine when products should be upgraded or replaced.
Provide onsite training for customer support personnel.
Coordinate with engineering teams for complex issues.
Skills & Qualifications
Typically requires vocational training (or equivalent experience) and several years of relevant work experience to carry out the role.

Strong technical and diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently in field environments.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Familiarity with installation and calibration procedures.
