Translational Research Associate - Biological Sample Management

Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the logistics for tumor and blood sample transfers between France and the United States
• Serve as primary contact with French pathologists holding tumor blocks
• Ensure the proper shipment of tumor blocks to laboratories, including those based in the U.S., and manage their return to the CRB
• Oversee the operational process of collaboration with an American biotech company performing genomic alteration analyses on the samples
• Implement tools for tracking sample activity and generate timeline reports for the project manager and CRB supervisor
• Set up an alert system to flag delays or issues in sample processing or logistics
• Perform laboratory work including quantification, bisulfite conversion, ddPCR, data analysis, and interpretation
• Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory notebooks and records
• Respond to inquiries from clinical investigation centers regarding sample kits

• Experience: Proven ability to thrive in collaborative, fast-moving environments (talent matters most to us!)

• Skills: Familiarity with laboratory techniques such as ddPCR, bisulfite treatment, and nucleic acid quantification, organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

• Education: Master's degree in Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Nursing, Medicine, or related field).

• Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English and French.
