About the Role

Azurreo is looking for a Traveling Telecom Technician to join its Field Operations team in France. This role is primarily field-based and involves traveling to customer sites to install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain telecom equipment and network infrastructure.

You will work on diverse technical projects in dynamic operational environments while collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, customers, and technical teams.

Tasks

Deployment & Commissioning

• Install, configure, and integrate telecom and network equipment such as routers, switches, servers, and related infrastructure.
• Participate in the deployment and commissioning of telecom sites, datacenters, and technical environments.
• Perform installation testing, validation, and operational checks to ensure service readiness.

Diagnostics & Incident Resolution

• Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot technical incidents and equipment failures.
• Intervene on-site to resolve operational and network-related issues efficiently.
• Ensure system continuity, performance, and operational reliability.

Technical Analysis & Improvement

• Analyze installation performance and field feedback.
• Report recurring issues and contribute to technical improvement initiatives.
• Assist in optimizing configurations and operational procedures.

Coordination & Reporting

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, customers, and field teams during project execution.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures, deadlines, safety measures, and quality standards.
• Produce clear and structured technical intervention reports after field missions.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Networking, IT, Electronics, or a related technical field.
• Initial professional experience through internships, apprenticeships, work-study programs, or early-career technical roles in telecom, networking, or IT infrastructure environments.

Technical Skills

• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, routing, switching).
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments.
• Basic understanding of mobile network technologies (2G, 3G, 4G).
• Comfortable working with telecom and network hardware.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in the field.

Communication & Professional Skills

• Strong English communication skills for technical reporting and international coordination.
• Ability to explain technical situations clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Professional and proactive communication style during field interventions.
• Comfortable interacting directly with customers and operational teams.

Logistics & Mobility

• Valid driver’s license (Permis B) required.
• Full availability for frequent travel across France and internationally.
• Ability to work independently in field environments.
