Une maîtrise du langage Python, avec connaissances avancées en Programmation Orientée Objet ;
La gestion des délais ;
La capacité de travail en équipe ;
La curiosité et force de proposition ;
La capacité d'évoluer dans un environnement international (Anglais : niveau B2-C1 demandé) ;
La capacité d'adaptation
English
The TDP organization (Technology Design Platform) designs and delivers, within ST’s divisions, the technology platforms for product design in imaging, microcontrollers, aerospace, the Internet of Things, and automotive.
Within the TE&R (Technology Enablement & Reliability ) R&D organization, the Design Foundation team contributes to the development and deployment of information systems essential for the design and automatic validation of design solutions that STMicroelectronics provides to its internal and external customers. The Process Design Kit (PDK) platforms thus created are Computer-Aided Design (CAD) platforms that enable designers to draw, simulate, and verify integrated circuits (“Digital” and “Analog & Mixed Signal”) for a given technology.
OUR FUTURE COLLABORATION
In a context of continuous optimization of our product quality, we are looking for a VIE in Microelectronics/Computer Science with strong knowledge of Python.
You will join our Design Rule Check team, made up of about twenty people, split between Crolles and New Delhi, within the TE&R department. We are responsible for developing layout verification files (DRC) used by designers to ensure that circuits will be manufacturable, as well as for validating files.
You will report to a technical expert on the team, and your main mission will be:
On the one hand, Build LVF can be considered an orchestrator that reads and interprets data to assemble them into a package intended for customer delivery. The need for automation comes from the rigidity of the current solution designed in TCL, which is difficult to maintain, not very scalable, and heavily dependent on proprietary tools that we want to move away from.
On the other hand, DTK software is used to generate suites of unit test cases, both positive and negative, used as a qualification tool for DRC code. Currently largely developed in Skill (Cadence’s proprietary language), a migration to Python should be considered for better integration with the rest of our tools.
Furthermore, we aim to connect this development platform with Artificial Intelligence technologies based on Agentic systems.
Our ambition is to facilitate the development of every member of our team and to sustain their growth through a modular and efficient structure, enabling smoother delivery with reduced cycle times.
About you
In this context, you will be responsible for:
• Participating in the creation of modular software in Python, intended to interface with our existing tools
• Ensuring its modularity and anticipating possible changes that may arise in the context of our work
• Contributing to the creation and drafting of specifications combining technical and ergonomic requirements
• Unit testing the software as well as integrating it into the STMicroelectronics environment
The skills sought are as follows:
• Strong command of Python, with advanced knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming
Additional knowledge in the following areas is a plus:
• SVRF, Skill language
• Natural Language Processing technologies (Tokenizer, Embedding, Transformers, etc.)
• Standard AI Agentic libraries (Langchain, Langgraph, etc.) and basic Git functionality
• Software validation (unit, integration, and end-to-end tests with Pytest)
Throughout the project and its communication exercises, you will develop non-technical skills:
• Time management
• Teamwork ability
• Curiosity and proactivity
• Ability to evolve in an international environment (English level B2-C1 required)
• Adaptability
