Job Description

As a Welder/Fabricator you will oversee fabricating and assembling metal structures and components according to specifications and blueprints. The Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for welding, cutting, and shaping metal using various tools and techniques. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products while adhering to safety standards and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.

Fabricate and assemble metal components and structures using welding equipment and tools such as MIG, TIG, and stick welders.

Cut, shape, and bend metal using saws, shears, torches, and presses.

Perform quality inspections to ensure that fabricated parts meet dimensional and quality standards.

Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.

Collaborate with other members of the production team to meet production goals and deadlines.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in welding/fabrication preferred.

 years of experience as a welder/fabricator in a manufacturing or construction environment.

Proficiency in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and equipment.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
