The Workshop Technician reporting to the Workshop Technician Supervisor, is responsible for providing prompt and effective service on customer-owned actuators. The Technician will work as part of the Service team and work in a safe manner, comply with Rotork Environmental Health and Safety Policies identifying and resolving potential hazards.
This role will involve basic maintenance + maintenance level 2, repair and testing of electric and fluid power actuators, gearboxes and valve actuation for in-house service jobs. The Service Workshop Technician will support the Service Coordinator in generating, maintaining and closing of in-house service tickets.
There will be a close relationship with technical assistance and the other departments, including working with Quality, Engineering, Shipping and Sales Managers. Within the workshop, this individual will be responsible for tools, calibration of safety equipment, preventative maintenance, inventory control and overall tidiness of the workspace.
