Your missions

As a member of the Research & Innovation's Operational Excellence team, you will contribute to driving continuous improvement across R&I by streamlining workflows, enhancing analytical standards, and empowering scientific teams through innovative tools and knowledge transfer. Depending on the project, your main responsibilities could include:

• Scoping & Needs Assessment:
  • Analyze existing workflows, methods, or datasets to identify improvement opportunities and efficiency gains.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (scientific, quality, digital) to gather technical requirements and align on project objectives.
• Design, Experimentation & Optimization:
  • Design, test, and deploy new methods, protocols, or innovative solutions (analytical, technical, or digital).
  • Conduct trials or experiments, optimize ongoing processes, and ensure the robustness, compliance, and reproducibility of results.
• Documentation, Knowledge Transfer & Team Engagement:
  • Draft summary reports, standardized protocols, user guides, or training modules to ensure seamless knowledge sharing.
  • Present key findings, support teams in adopting new tools or workflows, and actively contribute to the daily life and operational excellence of the department.

Your Profile:

• You are currently enrolled in a Master's degree or Engineering cycle (Master 1 or Master 2 from a university, engineering school, or business school), seeking a 6-month internship starting in January 2027. Specialization in Analytical Chemistry, Life Sciences, Quality & Metrology, Chemical/Process Engineering, or Chemoinformatics/Digital Sciences.
• Fluency in both French and English is required
• Technical & Scientific Expertise: Solid background in analytical instrumentation (spectroscopy, chromatography, mass spectrometry, or physicochemical characterization), good laboratory practices (GLP/EHS), or laboratory metrology and quality standards.
• Digital & AI Acumen: Strong proficiency in data processing and reporting; curiosity or practical experience in integrating digital tools, data visualization, continuous improvement methods, or applying basic AI/automation workflows to optimize routine tasks is a strong plus.
• Project Management & Organization: Rigorous and structured approach to work, with the ability to build retroplannings, formalize standard operating procedures (SOPs), and manage projects end-to-end with high autonomy.
• Communication & Knowledge Transfer: Strong pedagogical, written, and interpersonal skills with an ability to simplify complex technical topics, present findings clearly, and drive change collaboratively in a dynamic R&D environment.
