ABOUT BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT-LICENSING TEAM
Part of Curium Biopharma, the Business Development & Licensing team is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing external growth opportunities that strengthen the BU’s portfolio and long-term strategic positioning. The team manages end-to-end deal processes—opportunity sourcing, strategic and financial assessment, transaction structuring, negotiation, and post-deal partnership management—across in-licensing, out-licensing, co-development, and strategic collaborations.
The team is composed of former top-tier strategy consultants (BCG, Bain, Roland Berger) and finance professionals (Private Equity, Venture Capital). They operate in a fast-paced, intellectually rigorous, and highly collaborative environment
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INTERN
- Support deal sourcing and evaluation, including opportunity screening, competitive intelligence, and strategic-fit assessments across diagnostic and therapeutic areas.
- Participate in end-to-end business case development—from market and competitive analysis to forecasting, valuation models, deal scenarios, and partnership structures.
- Contribute to licensing and partnership processes, including due diligence, preparation of term sheets, and internal alignment with key stakeholders.
- Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations through high-quality presentations, financial models, and materials for senior leadership and investment committees.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Commercial, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Medical) to consolidate insights and strengthen recommendations.
PREFERRED PROFILE
- Top-tier engineering, business school or universities (e.g., HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, EDHEC, EM Lyon, Ecole Polytechnique, CentraleSupélec, Mines, Ponts ParisTech, Dauphine, Sorbonne…)
- First experience, ideally in consulting, financial services or within the strategy/ corporate finance function of a large corporation
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Fluent in both French and English
