Job Description
Reporting to the Global Business Development Manager for Kilian Paris and Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle, the Global Business Development Assistant will support the International Department by analyzing business performance, tracking strategic initiatives and driving operational excellence worldwide, in partnership with Regional and Global teams. As such, the missions will be as follows:
Business Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze global performance by region, country, channel, top doors and product, and provide monthly & quarterly reports to track trends and sales evolution.
- Review boutiques’ monthly performance, including detailed product-level analysis to identify opportunities and optimize results.
- Follow up and track new distribution expansion, ensuring accurate and up-to-date distribution list.
- Consolidate multi-source data to update and maintain business tracking tools.
Launch & Activation Support
- Coordinate product launch reporting, combining regional feedback and reviewing 360° activations (media, PR, events, visual merchandising).
- Track and support regional trade calendars to ensure timely and successful execution.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitors’ distribution expansion and market penetration to provide strategic insights.
- Conduct competitor market analyses through store visits and create newsletters.
Global Collaboration & Strategic Projects
- Support regional teams (Europe, Asia, Americas) in business development initiatives aligned with each brand’s strategy, including monthly meetings, brainstorming sessions to refine local needs, and preparation for market visits.
- Assist in creating presentations tailored to regional teams or retailers, such as Gravity meetings, business reviews, and retailer presentations.
- Participate in the organization of the International Seminar in Paris, overseeing both logistics and content development.
Profile
- Master’s student (Bac +4/5), with strong analytical skills, synthesis abilities and proactivity
- Fluent in English and French
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint & Power BI)
- Knowledge of luxury and niche fragrance markets
- Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively
- Experience in Business Analysis, Sales or Marketing is a plus
