The Position and Responsibilities
The candidate will support the front office team. The team is investing in European infrastructure debt for Rivage’s investment funds.
The intern will have the opportunity to:
- Participate in the screening of investment opportunities and assist the team in the preparation of memos for screening committees
- Financial analysis: perform business and financial due diligence, use financial models to perform sensitivity analysis
- Participate in the credit approval process of new investments and assist the team in the execution of transactions
- Contribute to the debt platform development (data computing and research, advanced modelling tools…)
- Participate in the annual credit reviews of portfolio transactions
- Participate in the development of internal rating policies and credit scoring methodologies
- Industry research: in-depth research for industry trends, news flow, emerging themes notably linked to Energy transition, Decarbonation and New Mobility
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate must:
- Be in a Master’s degree course from a leading engineering/business school or university, or ideally a double Master’s degree in either one of the following academic fields: engineering, project finance, corporate and business law. Undergraduate applications will not be considered
- Have a high level in writing and financial mathematics
- Be fluent in English and French (written and spoken). Fluency in another language is a plus
- Be hardworking, a team player and results-driven
