Internship - Container Sales Assistant

YOUR ROLE  

Within the Logistics Department based at the headquarters in Marseille, you will join the "Container Sales" department composed of 4 people and in relation with a network of Agents worldwide.

With the objective of maintaining a young and profitable container fleet, CMA CGM sells its "aged" containers, i.e., containers used for a certain number of years and also damaged containers that cannot be repaired. The Container Sales Department is responsible for the container sales strategy, minimizing evacuation or repair costs, and maximizing sales prices while giving a second life to old containers (circular economy). To achieve this, it relies on a network of Agents deployed worldwide in charge of local prospecting and executing sales with buyers. The Container Sales Department also manages greements with more global players from the HO. It handles Agent billing and pricing grids. Thus, the Sales HO team plays a real role in animating the sales network and ensures the monitoring of Agent sales performance.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ? 

• Developing a BtoB Sales Platform for the CMA CGM Group: Collecting needs from the Agent network and change management, liaising with IT teams in charge of development, creating abd updating the customers Master Data, conducting Tests, and training users


• Auditing and Controlling sales in several countries: analyzing sales by clients, benchmarking prices, ensuring compliance with customs formalities, etc


• Implementing operational Reporting on Agent performance in container sales


• Controlling quality of the solution provided and the main functionalities


• Drive change by drafting change requests on the platform to address user feedback and ensure the compliance of the proposed solutions


• Analyzing sales data to measure Agent performance and define corrective actions

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ? 

• You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree (Bac+5)


• You are currently studying at an Engineering School or Business School


• You have a logical and rigorous mindset


• You have very good analytical skills, particularly in Excel


• You have excellent knowledge of IT tools


• You are highly autonomous and able to conduct meetings in English


• You are curious and eager to learn


• You are proactive and take initiative


• You are able to work effectively within a team and adapt your communication style to different stakeholders
