Gottengreen is a financial advisory firm focused on energy transition and sustainability, resulting from the merger of Gottengreen in Paris (started by Martin Volatier and Frédéric Tengelmann, former Rothschild & Co bankers) with D.CT Deutsche Cleantech in Frankfurt (started by Hartmut Betke and Volkmar Hellmich, former Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley bankers).

The Paris team consists of 20 professionals and provides advice on M&A and capital raising in a wide range of sectors related to sustainability: energy, industry & cities, environment, mobility and food & agriculture.

Trainee’s missions

The intern will assist Gottengreen in the execution of its mandates and the origination efforts. Missions include:

• Execution: process monitoring, structuration, offer analysis
• Origination: presentation writing, sectoral analysis, company financial review
• Financial modelling and valuation

Required profile

• A pronounced interest for investment banking, financial advisory and sustainability
• Robust financial knowledge and accounting skills
• Strong working capacity, analytical skills
• Being a team player Fluency in English and French Mastering
• Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel, Word)
