ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our Project & Operational Controlling team. The selected candidate will contribute to key initiatives aiming to harmonize project management tools, enhance financial governance, and strengthen project performance monitoring across the Strategic Unit.
This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, curious, comfortable interacting with multiple stakeholders, and eager to learn about project controlling, budgeting processes, and finance transformation initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Project Management Tools Benchmark & Implementation
- Conduct a benchmark of project management software currently available on the market.
- Organize interviews with internal stakeholders to understand needs and constraints.
- Support the selection and rollout of the most suitable solution for the organization.
2. Support to Project Managers on Budget Processes
- Assist project managers in transferring their project budgets into the new Group template.
- Participate in the automation and optimization of this template to align with Group expectations and project requirements.
- Create a clear, user-friendly finance handbook explaining key concepts, processes, deadlines, controls, and responsibilities for project managers.
- Ensure alignment with Group finance standards and best practices.
3. Monthly Reforecast Coordination
- Organize and support the monthly reforecast process with Financial Controllers and Project Managers.
- Review submitted data and highlight deviations vs. budget, timelines, and key assumptions.
- Ensure timely reporting and escalate risks when necessary.
4. Other responsabilities
- Build and structure ROI analyses for major completed projects.
- Contribute to ongoing automation initiatives led by the Finance team.
- Help improve existing tools, workflows, and reporting processes to increase efficiency and reliability.
REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor or Master’s degree in progress, preferably with a specialization in IT, data analysis, or process optimization, with a strong interest in Finance/Controlling.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Comfortable interacting with various stakeholders (Finance, PMs, Operations).
- Proactive, curious, and able to work independently.
- Good communication and synthesis abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, especially Excel (mandatory)
- Knowledge of Power BI/Power automate or other data tools is a plus.
- Interest in project management and financial processes.
